About Me
I am a 23-year-old journalist living on the Canadian east coast. I love reading, writing and photography, and after years of enjoying those things privately, I decided that I wanted to share my hobbies publicly. I am not a professional literary critic, but every year I try to read as much as possible and I love when friends ask for book recommendations, so I decided I would start to write about my favourite books and share it with those around me.
I grew up in Canada and the United States. I have been lucky enough to spend some time traveling through Canada, the U.S., and Europe. I currently live in Nova Scotia. I have a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of King's College, as well as an undergraduate degree in history and political science from Western University.
Besides books and school, I am a lover of dogs, war movies and stand up comedy. I think humour is the best weapon, and that being over-dressed is always a good thing.
Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoy!

There are so many incredible books hitting the shelves in January 2019. Here are the ones to look out for.
If you haven’t read these incredible books this year, I highly recommend grabbing them from your local bookstore in 2019.

It’s been a long, hard year. Finish strong by reading something that will make you feel good!
As the colder months approach, I’ve taken to using books as my escape. Since I can’t book a flight to a tropical destination, I read novels and non-fiction about adventure, travel, and self-discovery.
